We all screamed December Daily!

Ok so......... December, yeah December Daily! I am coming down from being in my calm state of being grateful. I loved November so much. This year I actually didn't rush Christmas and welcomed every bit of November. So this last week in November I am joining the craze! Trust me it was NOT easy looking at everyone's crafty Christmas posts on instagram. People are prepping and BUYING!!!!!

Not this girl! I have got waaaaay too much in my stash that I have not used up from the years before. You can see my  2016 and 2015 December Daily posts.
So let's get started on what I have done so far....

This digital stamp is from Kellie Stamps and I printed it on vellum.
I also did a lil typing to start off my album.

I was very pleased with it since this is the first time I added a reason why or an intro.

I also did some embossing with these Elles Studio stamps. It's one of the stamp sets I could not resist.

annnnnnd then it was BLACK FRIDAY- I gave in to the The Planner Society and bought her Christmas digitals.
I have a confession: I am an addict when it comes to digitals. I just CAN'T stop playing with them. Don't get me wrong I love playing with stamps but digital is so darn INSTANT!

Did a lil fussy cutting. I printed these on sticker paper so these were ready to be played with.

These digitals I printed on vellum and its now over my last opening page I made. I will also add I may be addicted to making opening pages now! lol

Look at this beauty......... I went back to my stash. I knew the printable I bought from Paislee Press's Fall magic had a weather sticker that HAD to go over this sweater. I stuck them both on this card and slipped it in a pocket page.

So that's that folks..... Here is my sweet grand baby and pup. We had went on a walk over the weekend and as you can see she's in her plaid pj's and is ready for December too!

I leave you with my first opening page that is now my second opening page lol
Pocket cards are from sweet Jena over at Felicity Jane

Happy last few days of December! So how about you? Will you be joining in on this scrapbook craze!?

***Oh wait and last but not least let me give out a shout out to our Queen Ali Edwards who started this motha!

Peace Love & Pretty Pay-pa!

Thanksgiving Guessing Game!

Hey friends! Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you ate lots of yummy pie! Today I am sharing a craft I made with some digital prints form Studio Calico  . So in the beginning of November, I thought how could I  switch things up? We usually go around the table and say what we are thankful for and well it ends up being the same every year. So this year I decided we would play a guessing game. Each family member wrote a list of what they were thankful for and we placed them in each envelope.

Take a look....

Well it turned out to be loads of fun guessing! We all guessed wrong and were surprised at each response. We had a blast - take a look.

After we ate and played our guessing game we tried to take our annual Thanksgiving photo - it was a fail but fun too! Here are some takes...

And.... here we all are,  my four kids and my one sweet grand baby.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Vinyl is your friend! DIY Mug Tutorial

Yay Pumpkin Spice is in for one more month y'all!
So my sweet friend Doreen  asked me to make her a mug last year and I never found an orange mug for her... but I did this year!
This is what she wanted her mug to read....

Pretty darn cute right? I have not done a tutorial in years so let's go....

You need your cut vinyl image, a mug and some transfer paper that's it!

Stick the transfer paper on top of your vinyl image.

With any credit card or sturdy card rub over your vinyl image.

Once you have rubbed your transfer paper on to your image the vinyl image with adhere to your transfer paper. See below image....

Once you place your vinyl and transfer paper on top of  your cup get your credit card and repeat rubbing over the vinyl image.

Gently peel your transfer paper off your mug and wa- la! You have now made an awesome cup!
I would love for you to tag me if you venture in making a cup of your own!

NOW... I get so many questions on this I thought I would include this to my post.

I made this mug in November of 2014 for a friend and I.

Here's how it looks 3 years later...

My name came off about a year later and I was ok with that...
Now mind you I use this mug as a travel mug  weekly - it gets a lot of use!
I even place it in the microwave for thirty seconds and you are NEVER supposed to place vinyl in microwave . Some how this kitty has just hung on....

SO here is my TIP: The bigger your vinyl image or letter is the better it's chances of staying on your cup are longer.  If your font is really tiny then you have to be super careful when you wash it so it doesn't come off.

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you have any questions. As soon as I have a proper set up I will make a you tube video so be on the look out!
